We had a wonderful Christmas season, filled with many family get togethers, lots of food, and plenty of gifts. Ella Grace and I started the week out with a Christmas party with my Dad's side of the family, held at my Grannie Calvert's house. All of Ella Grace's presents were princess themed, so she thought she was in heaven. I could not get the packages open fast enough, and as you can see she had to put her princess outfit on right away.
Uncle Jacob and Jesse got new Northface jackets from Ella Grace, so they had to put theirs on too!!
That following Tuesday daddy came to join us for the holidays, and we gathered at his parents house. Gigi and Papa were so excited for us to all spend the night. The family tradition pre-Ella was to all have breakfast together Christmas morning, but this year we had to make some adjustments due to Santa's schedule. After a family dinner with Gigi, Papa, Grandmother Alice, and Uncle Jerrod it was time to open presents. As you can imagine Ella Grace racked up once again.

Christmas Eve morning we all got up to go to Nanie's house. Aunt Lele and Uncle Shannon was waiting there to play with Ella Grace. After Mommy and Aunt Lele finished cooking Aunt Jo, Uncle Brad and Aunt Britt Britt got there and it was time to eat. After eating as fast as lightning we ran to the living room to join Ella Grace in opening presents, because not only had she started without us, she was rearranging nametags. Her favorite thing was a wooden doll bed, which was the size of a small doll, bu it didn't matter because she felt it was big enough for her. Aunt Jo bought her a bunch of doll accessories, but as you see they are perfect for little girls too!
Finally it was time to head home to Auburn to prepare for Santa, Mommy and Ella Grace made cookies for Santa...we even had special reindeer food. Daddy read us Twas the Night Before Christmas, and then it was off the bed so Santa could come...and boy did he. Ella Grace stepped right over her Barbie four-wheeler to get to her kitchen, which she LOVES!
