A Trunk or Treat'n Good Time!

We had yet another busy weekend. A visit from 2 granmothers, shopping, trip to the park, and trunk or treat at church. Thursday afternoon Grammy (or Gigi) came to get ready for Mommy's party, which turned out nice. Ella Grace got to come home early from school Friday to play it up with Grammy. We got up Saturday morning to get ready for Nan to come, that is my grandmother, and Ella Grace loves her Nannie. While she was here, a sewing session was held in our kitchen and she taught me the basics. I made two pillowcase dresses, so I am hooked, and of course I have plenty of ideas. Nan went to church with us this morning, before heading home. This afternoon Ella Grace had a quick playdate with Mary McKinnon and her new friend Emma Kate, before heading to church to the trunk or treat with another friend Emma.

Here is Nan, Ella Grace and Mommy before church, and EG playing at the Hickory Dickory Park.

Did anyone know that ladybugs have attitude, well mine does. Ella Grace was not very happy about putting on her costume, although once we got to church and everyone was handing out candy, of course she quickly changed her tune. She wanted to grab candy out of everyones bucket, and then display her candy all out on the pavement to look at it.

She was so cute playing the games, and trick or treating, her favorite was the duck hunting game in the water. We had played that game at the fair, so she was well prepared for what to do.

Thursday night is the Auburn celebration downtown and we are going with a big group of our friends and Ella Grace's friends as well, so if you pass by our house and see someone bouncing off the walls. It is Ella Grace going crazy from all the sugar!
